Pawlowski On Facebook

I find Ed Pawlowski's posts on facebook rather remarkable. He seems to have two kinds; One version is his activities in Allentown, completely ignoring his upcoming trial. Understand that I have anxiety even over a haircut appointment, much less federal prosecution. His second kind of posts deal with the law. Although the law has changed since the investigation began into his shenanigans, and he could be acquitted, nine people already pleaded guilty to abetting him in his intent, which was alledgedly  to shake down contributors.

His facebook posts are indeed quite a pyschological profile.  The election is over, and the jury was selected in Philadelphia. Pawlowski took his wife and children along to Philadelphia,  where she was admonished by the judge for chatting up potential jurors.  One must wonder who he is trying to convince with his facebook posts?  Perhaps himself.

  1. I've long thought that the Pawlowskis represents a certain type of gutter politician couple, all too common, whose arrogance and sense of entitlement are nauseatingly insufferable. But fortunately, there is a G-d. The bigger they come, the harder they fall.

  2. Only 54 counts?

For 2012, the US Department of Justice reported a 93% conviction rate. The conviction rate is also high in U.S. state courts.

As they say in math books: The proof is left to the reader.

  3. Shades of Rocket "Rod Blagojevich". He is in the middle of a 14-year sentence, but still maintains his innocence. I truly hope he maintains this belief at sentencing, because if he does, Judge Sanchez will have him for breakfast.

The great deceiver, who really doesn't want anything from Allentown, [Senate and Governor campaigns], hangs his hat on the Menendez and MacDowell cases. It's a gamble, but this guy's name is not Maverick. Even better yet, he seems to trust his mobbed up attorney Jack McMahon, who has less then a stellar win/loss record in the Lehigh Valley.

If he is found guilty of one main charge, he'll be spending serious time in the poke; something he is deathly afraid of. However, he brings his wife and family to the Federal Courthouse as if it were a daily fun outing in Philadelphia. We'll see how much fun it is on sentencing day!

  4. An add on: According to the MC today, [1/20/2018], Mr. I'm in denial, owes $26,000 in legal fees for ethics. Of course, there was no pay to play agreement conjured up with the New York law firm nor were the services free as he thought. This is the legacy of this slippery serpent; one victimized person after another!

  5. All 54 charges against him are felonies. Not all of the charges are bribery or theft of honest services. He is also charges with lying to the FBI among others. If he is convicted of one charge he forfeits his office. He is going to be spending time away from his family.
